Using the OpenVPN Client

To use the OpenVPN Client on Windows follow these steps:
  1. Start OpenVPN if it is not running already by going to:

    Start → Program Files → OpenVPN → OpenVPN

  2. In the SysTray, right-click on the OpenVPN ICON, click Connect


  3. Enter your user name and password:


     

  4. At this point you should be connected and see a box similar to the following:


     

To disconnect from VPN:

1.   Right-click on the OpenVPN systray icon.
2.   Click on Disconnect.
3.   You're now disconnected from SoC-VPN.
