Remove My Documents and My Computer icons from Desktop

Problem:
How do you remove the My Documents and My Computer icons from your desktop?
Solution:
If you would like to remove the "My Documents" and "My Computer" icons from your desktop you can follow these steps:
- Right click on the task bar
- Select properties
- Select the Start Menu tab
- Select Start menu instead of Classic Start menu.
This will remove the icons from the desktop and put the icons on the Start Menu.
